When Hollywood Came to Town: The Sandlot

Utah has been host to many a movie set throughout Hollywood’s illustrious history.  James V. D’Arc is the author of “When Hollywood Came to Town: a History of Moviemaking in Utah,” an insider’s guide to the happenings on and off set.  As curator of the BYU Motion Picture Archive, D’Arc is an expert on motion picture history.  He will be speaking about his book before screening “The Sandlot,” followed with a Q&A session. This program is made possible with the support of the Utah Humanities Book Festival.
