See local and national performing artist, vendors, families & friends, community resources and organizations; Sunday, June 16th is our Father’s Day Tribute. It wouldn't be Juneteenth without some good ole' foot stomping, hand clapping gospel music with special guest, Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Zenobia Smith. The events will include the electrifying sounds of Joe McQueen and his jazz ensemble. You don't want to miss this legendary saxophonist, who recently turned 100 years young and is still going strong! We will also introduce our inaugural, Willie Moore & Billy Mason “Golden Clipper Barber Battle” to honor two icons in the Salt Lake and Ogden Communities. Both men, helped build a sense of community, served as informal mentors, and counselors, while providing personal grooming for countless men and women of all ages and all backgrounds, including many of our Utah Jazz Players, over the decades. Witness the artistic skill of some of Utah’s student and professional barbers. Cash prizes and Trophies will be awarded.
