The New American Philharmonic will present their annual Spring Concert on Saturday, May 5th at 7:30 p.m. in the Ben Lomond High School auditorium at 1050 9th Street in Ogden. The concert is free of charge and is open to all ages eight and above. The conductor for this concert is Dr. Mark A. Emile of Utah State University.
The program will feature our fine principal clarinetist, Alan Portzline, playing the Mozart Clarinet Concerto. Also on the program will be Beethoven’s Symphony #3, also called the “Eroica.” The New American is comprised of professional, semi-professional and other dedicated adult musicians in the northern Utah area. In its 29th year, the orchestra presents approximately twenty performances annually in Davis and Weber counties.
