Students will learn how to make earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets and anything else you want out of silver, gold and precious stones.

Please bring some design ideas, your metal and stones. We will teach you the skills to create jewelry from your designs. If you do not have any ideas, we will help you get started.

ALL skill levels are invited to class.

You are welcome to come as little as once a month or as much as you want — whatever your schedule dictates. The class is scheduled for 2 hours, but you are welcome to stay longer if you want. A lot of students like to stay 3 hours.

Class is taught by Rene Venegas, a 16th generation master silversmith. He was taught as a youth by his father and later took specialized classes. In addition to classes taught at The Local Artisan Collective, he teaches jewlery making and metal smithing at Weber State University.
