The pumpkin harvest is here in time for the Eccles Art Center’s “Color. Carve. Collage. Paint.  Create a Pumpkin.” Competition.
This year the Eccles Art Center suggests you make this a family event.  Contact a member of the art center’s staff at 801-392-6935 or debra@ogden4arts.org before October 15th to reserve a complimentary pumpkin for your family.  The art center will schedule pick up appointments October 19 through 23, 2020 during office hours.  The Eccles Art Center and Weber County RAMP support Family Art Projects.  Family oriented art kits with seasonal projects will be provided complimentary to participating families when they pick up their pumpkins.
As a family, design your pumpkin between October 24th and 30th; upload a picture of it to the Eccles Art Center’s website (www.ogden4arts.org), tag it with #EcclesArtCenter or @eccles_art_center on Instragram or post it directly to the Eccles Community Art Center’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ogden4arts).  A Create a Pumpkin Gallery will be created on this website!
Monetary awards including a best of show prize and honorable mentions in two categories; Best Carved and Best Creative (painted or embellished).  Ask your family and friends to visit the Eccles Art Center’s Pumpkin Gallery at www.ogden4arts.org October 30th through November 2nd to vote for their favorite pumpkins.  These votes will assist the judging in the making of the awards.
