About the Artists:
Kris Lager Band
For well over a decade The Kris Lager Band has been a vehicle for Kris Lager’s unique brand of original music. Self-described as ‘Heavy Soul & Boogie Trance’ KLB doesn’t fall neatly into any one category or genre. The best way to categorize them would be ‘Feel Good Music’ because as soon as it hits you, you just feel good! Whether it is a funky soulful number, a groovy beat, a boogie guitar driven riff, or a tug on your heartstrings ballad. A KLB song or show has that ability to just lift you up and make you feel good every time!
The Rad Trads
When The Rad Trads formed in the Spring of 2012, they were meeting each other in New York City's East Village for the first time… transplants from Chicago, Portland, and Washington D.C. looking to play with the best musicians they could find. Their horns, guitars, drums, and love for the classics like The Band and Allen Toussaint brought them together. The gentlemen comprising the Brooklyn-based five-piece The Rad Trads distinguish themselves in ways few bands can. Already drawing lines around the block at home, the globe-trotting group’s singular take on rock n’ roll mixes punk rock energy, horn-drenched soul, and jazz precision, all with a lighthearted but sincere delivery.
Herban Empire is an alternative-reggae band hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah. Their smooth reggae rhythms combined with solid guitar and vocal harmonies give them a unique and refreshing sound that is sure to please.
