Ancient Torah Scrolls Exhibit
March 16 @ 6:30 pm - 9 pm
Alpine Church in Layton invites the public to explore two rare, handwritten scrolls of the Hebrew scriptures. One scroll is 250 years old, made from 100 kosher sacrificed calves. The other scroll, which originated in Yemen, is 500 years old. Both scrolls include the Hebrew Torah – the first five books of the Bible.
The scrolls exhibit will be accompanied by a lecture on “The Book that Changed the World: Bible Reliability and Relevance to Civilization”, presented by Corey Miller, PhD., President of Ratio Christi.
Ratio Christi, the exhibit sponsor, is a global movement that equips university students and faculty to give historical, philosophical, and scientific reasons for following Jesus Christ.
