OGDEN — The Utah Rotary Club will be hosting a Rubber Duck Race fundraiser at noon Saturday, Aug. 25.
Funds from the event will go to the Boys & Girls Club of Weber-Davis County, the Rotary Club’s 3rd Grade Dictionary Project, and the Weber State University Roteract Club Scholarship.
The rubber duck race starts at the Ogden River next to Slackwater Pub and Pizzeria, located at 1895 Washington Blvd., and finishes at the park located beside the Ogden River at Grant Avenue. Approximately 80 prizes will be given to the winners, including a season pass to Snowbasin ski resort.
Ducks can be purchased at Slackwater Pub and Pizzeria or at the Utah Rotary booth at the Ogden Farmers Market earlier that day. Ducks are $5 each or 6 for $25.
