Yes, Riders in the Sky are back in Layton for Pioneer Day

Riders in the Sky will play at 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 24 at  Kenley Centennial Amphitheater.

LAYTON – Get back in the saddle again with Riders in the Sky.

The group brings its annual Pioneer Day show to Kenley Centennial Amphitheater on Tuesday, July 24.

The Nashville, Tenn.-based cowpoke band that was featured in the “Toy Story” movies, and in the television series “Woody’s Roundup,” will play at 8 p.m. at the amphitheater, 403 N. Wasatch Drive. Gates open at 6 p.m.

The concert is free, with first-come, first-served seating. For more information, go to www.laytoncity.org.

Taste of the Town, featuring menu items from Layton restaurants, begins at 4 p.m. adjacent to the venue in Layton Commons Park. Tickets are $1 per sample, or 12 tickets for $10.
