LOGAN — “The Art of Living” is the focus of the next “Saturdays at the Museum” event at Utah State University’s Museum of Anthropology.
The program features guest speaker Jeffrey Nielsen, a philosophy professor at Westminster College in Salt Lake City. Nielsen’s speech, starting at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21, looks at the cultural value of art, and how it can help people find peace, happiness, contentment and meaning in life. Additional activities include a temporary exhibit about artistic traditions of South America, and a self-guided walking tour of sculptures on the USU campus.
The USU Museum of Anthropology is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays, in Room 252 of the Old Main building, on campus at 500 N. 700 East. Admission is free.
