LOGAN — Visitors are invited to explore the international language of music, at Utah State University’s Museum of Anthropology.
The next “Saturdays at the Museum” event, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 11, features Cathryn Clayton, a musicology professor from the University of Utah. Clayton speaks at 1 p.m., and will also perform music from around the world on the harp.
Music traditions, from many cultures, will be the focus of displays and hands-on activities such as making rain sticks.
The museum is in Room 252 of USU’s Old Main building, on campus at 500 N. 700 East. Regular exhibits are also open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Admission is free.
