OGDEN -- Treehouse Museum's annual Fairy Tale Ball starts at 6 p.m. May 7. The ball has a "Princess and the Pea" theme, but characters from other tales will be present. Guests are invited to dress as a favorite storybook character, or in ball attire, and enjoy dancing, decadent desserts and magic performances.
Princes and princesses can prove their royal backgrounds through a talent contest, or by performing a proper bow or curtsey. Those who pass the test receive a crown or tiara.
Tickets to the ball cost $10 per museum member ($40 for member families), or $15 for nonmembers. Tickets must be purchased by May 5, online at www.treehousemuseum.org, or by phone at 801-394-9663.
