'The Lorax' joins the Weber library itinerary

Moviegoers who missed seeing “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax” in theaters can now watch it for free. The 2012 big-screen adaptation of the children’s book “The Lorax” is among the upcoming free film screenings offered by the Weber County Library.

• “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax” (2012, PG) plays at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at the Ogden Valley branch, 131 S. 7400 East, Huntsville.

• “We Bought a Zoo” (2011, PG), part of the Books Into Films series, plays at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at the Pleasant Valley branch, 5568 Adams Ave., Washington Terrace.

• “The Secret World of Arrietty” (2010, G) plays at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, at the Pleasant Valley branch.

• “Hitch” (2005, PG-13), part of the Date Night series, plays at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, at the Pleasant Valley branch.
