LAYTON -- Bring the gang to Kenley Centennial Amphitheater for a night of family-friendly fun. Comedian/ventriloquist Kevin Johnson brings his fine feathered friends, Clyde and Mathilda, who will crack wise and get the entire family cackling.

The show, Davis Arts Council's third annual family night, is at 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at the venue, 403 N. Wasatch Drive. All ages are invited to attend.

Johnson, who bases out of Temecula, Calif., has won the hearts of fans young and old with his comic puppet act, featured on "America's Got Talent" and "The Late Show with David Letterman." A pro since age 13, when he joined his grandfather onstage, Johnson has also been a featured performer for the Disney Cruise Lines.

The show is $8 for lawn seating (chairs and blankets welcome), $12 for reserved seats, or $15 for orchestra seats. Check with the box office for discount family rates as well.

For tickets or information, call the Davis Arts Council at 801-546-8575 or go to www.davisarts.org.
