LAYTON -- Shutterbugs have the chance to show off at the Davis Arts Council's Snow Horse Art Gallery, but the entry date is fast approaching.
The Davis Arts Council is sponsoring a juried exhibit for amateur photographers from Davis and Weber counties. The top prize is $100, with $75 going to the second-place winner and $50 awarded for third.
Entries will be accepted from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at the Snow Horse Art Gallery. The gallery is in the Davis Conference Center, at 1651 N. 700 West, Layton. Photos can be any size, but must be framed and ready-to-hang in a two-dimensional format. A hanging cable must be attached to the frame within 3 inches of the top of the frame (no sawtooth brackets). There is an entry fee of $5 per photo.

The photography show opens 7 p.m. May 11, and continues through June 28.
