Sky in the news at Science Saturday

OGDEN — “This is Our Sky!” and “Summer Sky Tonight” are the themes of two planetarium shows playing at Science Saturday on Saturday, June 16.

Shows run every half-hour during the noon to 5 p.m. event at the Lind Lecture Hall on the Weber State University campus, 3848 Harrison Blvd.

Hands-on and interactive science activities will also be presented in the Museum of Natural Science.

On the star show lineup at the Ott Planetarium are “Star Hunting with Messier” at noon, “This is Our Sky!” at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., “Summer Sky Tonight” at 1:30 p.m., “The Nature of Science” at 3 p.m. and “Cosmic Journey” at 4 p.m. The last show begins at 4:30 p.m.

Admission is free to the program, which is made possible through Weber County RAMP funding.
