GARDEN CITY — Grab your scads of pretty papers and the glue and scissors, too — it’s time for a Scrapbook Fair.
Scrapbookers can share ideas and watch demonstrations during the two-day event May 4 and 5 at the Garden City Town Hall, 69 N. Paradise Parkway. Hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. May 4 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 5.
Demonstrations on Friday include “Making Glue Dots” at 5:30 p.m., creating travel books at 6 p.m. and making Christmas cards at 8:30 p.m.
On May 4, sessions will spotlight various scrapbooking techniques, making vintage tags and making flowers.
Admission is $10 for one day or $15 for both days. Guests may also bring a treat to share and money to purchase dinner on Friday night or lunch on Saturday.
