WEST VALLEY CITY -- Theater fans who are strapped for time and cash, and can't make it to the Utah Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City, have another option -- if they can spare a couple of hours for a midmorning dream come true.
The curtain rises on "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at 10 a.m. March 27, at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 W. 3100 South, West Valley City. Admission is free.
The target audience is students, and the Utah Cultural Celebration staff is expecting about 200. That leaves approximately 200 seats for the general audience, who will be seated on a first-come. first-served basis.
The performance is presented by the education department of the Utah Shakespeare Festival, and sponsored by the West Valley City Arts Council and Salt Lake City Zoo, Arts and Parks.
