WEST VALLEY CITY -- If the islands are calling you, but you don't have enough cash to visit, here's a compromise: Take in a traveling show from the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Highlights from the center's "Ha: Breath of Life" will be performed at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, July 19 and July 20, on the stage of the Utah Cultural Celebration Center.

The Polynesian Cultural Center is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Hawaii. "Ha: Breath of Life" features song and dance from Aotearoa, Hawai'i, Fiji, Samoa, Tahiti and Tonga. The show includes a fire knife performance.

Tickets cost $10, and can be purchased at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, at 1355 W. 3100 South, West Valley City.
