OGDEN — Wednesdays are still wild at the Ogden Nature Center.
The nature center hosts special presentations each Wednesday, at 3:30 p.m., about life in the wild. May’s sessions cover everything from habitats to hunters.
• May 2 — “Whoo Eats Whom?,” a look at predators and prey, with Pueo the short-eared owl.
• May 9 — “Hiding Habitats: Wetlands and Ponds,” featuring a search for wildlife around the nature center’s ponds.
• May 16 — “Fantastic Falcons,” starring Jetta, an American Kestrel.
• May 23 — “Our National Symbol: A Memorial Day Program” offers the chance to meet a live bald eagle.
• May 30 — “Accipiters — Aces of the Forest” teaches about true hawks and how they survive in the forest.
Admission to the Ogden Nature Center, at 966 W. 12th St., is $4 for adults, $3 for seniors and $2 for children.
