OGDEN— Learn more about Utah’s wildlife at the Ogden Nature Center’s Wild Wednesdays.
• Wednesday, July 11 — “Shorebirds 101.” Visitors will meet Einstein, the Ogden Nature Center’s American white pelican, and learn about shorebirds in Utah and their importance to the Great Salt Lake.
• July 18 — “Dip Into Summer.” Guests will have the opportunity to use nets to explore the nature center’s ponds and discover the animals that live in them.
• July 25 — “Utah’s Stories.” A naturalist from the center will provide information about the geologic history of Utah during a short hike, and will share stories and folk tales about the state’s history.
All programs are at the visitor center of the Ogden Nature Center, 966 W. 12th St., and begin at 3:30 p.m.
Admission for each event is $2 for children, $3 for seniors and $4 for adults.
