LOGAN — A mysterious white giraffe is one of the stars of “The Seven of Daran: Battle of Pareo Rock,” an independent film playing Saturday, June 16.
The children’s movie begins at 1 p.m. in the Dansante Building, 59 S. 100 West. Admission is free.
Seraf is a talking giraffe who meets Jimmy, an 11-year-old boy on a journey to Africa with his mother. The giraffe helps Jimmy and Charita, a poor African girl, try to prevent a battle between some rival tribes who are fighting over land.
The film was made in 2008 and is not rated.
