OGDEN -- Mojos Caffe & Gallery welcomes two touring shows next week. The first, on Tuesday, features a band from Portland, Ore. -- Across the Sun.
The second is on Thursday, when the Las Vegas-based band Eyes Like Diamonds pays a visit.
The shows are at the all-ages venue, at 2250 Washington Blvd., at 7 p.m.
Across the Sun plays progressive metal with symphonic elements. Members have been working together since 2004. They released their first full-length album, "Before the Night Takes Us," earlier this year on Metal Blade Records.
Eyes Like Diamonds plays experimental metal rock. The group recently signed to Tragic Hero Records, with plans to release a full-length album in September.
Tickets for either show are $8 in advance, $10 the day of the show. Both can be purchased in advance from Smith's Tix, 800-888-TIXX.
