TOOELE -- Gentlemen, start your engines. It's time for Racing to the Stars, a fundraiser for Clark Planetarium at Miller Motorsports Park.
Racing to the Stars, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. June 16, includes a tour of the park's car museum and tracks, dinner, a rocket display and demonstration by the Utah Rocket Club, and a star party. A general admission ticket, which includes all of these activities, costs $30.
An upgrade to the "basic package," costing $55, includes additional activities: a skid-car experience, go-carts, off-road ride, and a zip line. For another $50, participants can get the VIP package,which adds a race-simulation ride with a professional driver.

Funds raised by the event benefit the planetarium's science education program, including field trips and outreach activities for Utah students.
