LOGAN — Mike Iverson and the Blue Sage Band will perform as part of a Bridger Folk Music Society event at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at Crumb Brothers Bakery, 291 S. 300 West. The band will play a blend of western, folk and bluegrass music.
Mike Iverson, a Harrisville resident, has recorded as a studio musician, successfully competed in music competitions, and has performed throughout the Western states. His music has been featured in movies, television and a PBS documentary, according to a press release.
He is also known for his contributions in advancing the art of claw-hammer banjo, an original technique used to play the five-string banjo.
