OGDEN — Mike Iverson will perform “A Blue Sage Christmas,” presented by Twitchell House Concerts and Ogden Friends of Acoustic Music, on Wednesday, Dec. 12.

A potluck begins at 6:30 p.m., and the show will begin at 7:30 p.m., at 1514 23rd St., Ogden.

Raised in Layton, Iverson purchased his first guitar and began playing music during his first year in high school. By the time he graduated, he was learning to play the banjo and had formed his first folk/rock trio.

While still in high school, he began researching and performing old-time cowboy and pioneer songs. His obsession with songs “native” to the West soon made him a popular performer at local events such as the Festival of the American West, where he performed for more than 25 years.

Admission is $15 per person (ages 16 and younger are admitted for free); advance tickets are available.

Call 801-393-3420 or email utahbanjo@comcast.net for ticket information.
