LOGAN -- Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Aug. 15, for "Live It Up," the Cache Valley Center for the Arts 2012-2013 season. Performances, in the Ellen Eccles Theatre, run the gamut from Broadway shows to Western crooning.
The Manhattan Transfer kicks the season off, at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 21. Next up is BodyVox performing "Reverie," an uplifting dance choreographed in response to 9/11, going onstage at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 28.
The curtain rises on a national tour of "A Chorus Line" at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 12-13, followed by The Acting Company's performance "Of Mice and Men" at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 16.
Holiday shows in the lineup are "Miracle on 34th Street," at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 27-28, and the Bar J Wranglers at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 15.
"Drumline Live" is set for 7:30 p.m. performances on Jan. 15 and Jan. 16, and Imago Theatre, a Portland-based theatrical spectacle, hits the stage at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 28.
The season ends with three musical performances: Chanticleer male chorus at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 21-22; fiddler Natalie MacMaster at 7:30 p.m. March 20; and Bobby McFerrin at 7:30 p.m. March 26-27.
