ANTELOPE ISLAND — The Junior Ranger program at Antelope Island State Park will provide two programs for children ages 6-12 on Saturday, Aug. 11.

At 10 a.m., guests can learn about the cowboys who worked herding cattle on Antelope Island. This program is held at the Fielding Garr Ranch.

The second program begins at 11 a.m. in the visitor center’s amphitheater. Here, kids can learn about spiders and which spiders can be found on the island.

Although the programs are directed toward younger children, all ages are welcome.

The park is west of Syracuse off Interstate 15’s Exit 332. Admission to the park is $9 per vehicle.
