OGDEN — Utah rockers Imagine Dragons come to Weber State University for a concert at 7 p.m. Oct. 25.

Tickets are now on sale for the concert, at the Dee Events Center, 4400 Harrison Blvd.

Imagine Dragons formed in Provo in 2009, taking the act shortly thereafter down Interstate 15 to Las Vegas. There, the band worked the club scene in and around The Strip.

Musically, the band marries synthesizer-driven rock with strong pop sensibilities. After two successful self-released EPs, Imagine Dragons released their major-label debut, ”Night Vision,” in 2012 from Interscope. The album went to No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200.

Provo-based alt-rock band Fictionist will also be performing. Fictionist won an Independent Music Award for Best Pop/Rock Song for the single “Invisible Hand,” off the band’s first album of the same name. The song “Noisy Birds” was featured in Seasons 6 and 7 of the PBS program “Roadtrip Nation.” The band’s major-label debut, on Atlantic Records, is due out later this year. Cost is $49.50 for the floor, $35 for the upper and lower bowls. Weber State University students with ID can receive a $5 discount.

Tickets are limited to eight per person, and may be purchased by phone at the WSU box office, 801-626-8500, or online at
