BRIGHAM CITY — The Fine Arts Center will host an encore Music in the City Concert with guitarist Austin Weyand and violinist Jamie Bartschi.
The concert begins at 8 p.m. May 18 in the Fine Arts Center, 58 S. 100 West. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
Weyand is a well-known guitarist in and around Northern Utah, and is known best for his fingerstyle compositions. He has played many genres of music while touring in Europe and currently plays with a local rock band. He makes his home in Honeyville.
This concert will feature a variety of guitar and violin compositions from his new CD, “They Call Me Dad: Songs for My Daughters.”
Jamie Bartschi, based out of Montpelier, Idaho, is a performer and teacher with more than 27 years of experience. She has worked in hospitals and rehabilitation centers around the country and has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music therapy. The concert will feature compositions from her new album “Unpaved.”
Tickets are $8 per person, $5 with student ID.
