OGDEN — If you needed to eat off the land, could you? Would you know which plants are safe and tasty?
The Ogden Nature Center presents a “Wild & Edible Foraging Walk,” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 12.
Staff botanist Cheyenne Herland will lead the tour along the Ogden Nature Center trails, with the help of James Magruder, volunteer naturalist for Weber Pathways. At the end of the walk, participants eat a dish made from the foods found along the way.
The walk, at 966 W. 12th St., is for adults and children age 10 and older. Reservations are $5, due by 2 p.m. May 11.
