Event takes hikers to Antelope Island's peregrine falcon tower

ANTELOPE ISLAND — Explore the history of Antelope Island State Park during a hike on Saturday, Aug. 4.

The history hike, which focuses on island resources and why and how they are cared for, includes visits to the historic mulberry grove, fresh water springs, a peregrine falcon tower and some wheat fields.

The event begins at 2 p.m. at mile marker 9 on the road to the Fielding Garr Ranch.

Admission to the park is $9 per vehicle. Access to the park is at 4528 W. 1700 South, west off Interstate 15’s Exit 332 in Syracuse.
