LAYTON — The Kenley Centennial Amphitheater begins its summer season of Sunday shows on June 3 with a Celtic concert by the Dunmore Lasses.
The series, presented at 7 p.m. each Sunday through Aug. 26, is free and intended for the entire family. Audience members can use the stadium-style seating, or bring lawn chairs and blankets to set out on the grass.
The Dunmore Lasses, based out of Clearfield, play a mix of world music, as well as Celtic and Irish styles. They have been featured on Irish music podcasts and provided music for local film projects. The group has also played area venues, as well as the Ogden Irish Music Festival and the Celtic Music Festival of Wyoming.
