OGDEN — Spencer King has struggled with mental illness and isn’t afraid to talk — or laugh — about it.
The comedian’s take on everything from his own personal demons to his love/hate relationship with his cat may well pop up in his performances at 8 p.m. June 15 and 16 at Wiseguys Comedy Club, 269 Historic 25th St.
King, who attended Utah Valley University, has appeared in festivals and competitions throughout the country including the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival and the Seattle International Comedy Competition.
He also worked as an actor with roles in the LDS films “Church Ball” in 2006 and “Passage to Zarahemla” in 2007.
Tickets to the comedy show, geared for age 18 and older, are $10.
