CLEARFIELD — The Clearfield’s Children’s Theatre presentation of Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland, Jr.” promises to be a fun and eventful production for all involved.
Directed by Clearfield resident Deanna Gardner and involving more than 50 children, the production invites the audience to enjoy Alice’s madcap adventures in Wonderland as she chases the White Rabbit, races the DoDo bird, gets tied up with the Tweedles, raps with the bubble-blowing Caterpillar, and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game.
This production is a fast-paced stage adaptation of the Disney film and features updated dialogue and new arrangements of classic songs such as “I’m Late,” “The Un-birthday Song” and “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah.”
“Alice in Wonderland, Jr.” will be performed at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, July 25-28, with a 2 p.m. matinee on July 28, in the Little Theatre inside Clearfield Community Arts Center, 140 E. Center St.
Ticket are $5 for adults and seniors, $3 for children 12 and younger. Tickets can be purchased at Clearfield Community Services, 55 S. State St., or at the door the day of the show. Seating is limited; early ticket purchases are recommended.
