Never seen the Goosenecks of the San Juan or visited the Coral Pink Sand Dunes?

Now you can take a trip to these and other state parks for free through the Check It Out! program of the Utah State Parks department.

Annual park passes are available at various Top of Utah libraries and may be checked out just like a book or CD to visit a park of your choice. The pass may be used for day-use in most state parks by the person who checks it out, plus seven guests, all traveling in one private vehicle.

The passes are not valid for the $9 causeway fee at Antelope Island State Park or at This Is the Place Heritage Park.

Top of Utah libraries offering the passes include the Davis County Library in Farmington, Central Branch Library in Layton, North Branch Library in Clearfield, Weber County Library in Ogden, Morgan County Library, Brigham City Library and Tremonton City Library.
