OGDEN — Watch live bird demonstrations or take a birding walk during the Ogden Migratory Bird Festival on Saturday, May 5.
Activities run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the MTC Learning Park, 1750 Monroe Blvd. Admission is free.
Visitors can also make pine-cone bird feeders and 3-D bird ornaments, get a bird tattoo, view bird exhibits and listen to live music.
More than 200 pieces of bird art created by elementary school children will be on display, and awards will be handed out to the students.
The event is sponsored by the Ogden Migratory Bird Program, an organization that promotes the awareness and value of migratory birds. The group has also been involved in creating a schoolyard bird habitat and sponsoring the elementary school art contest, as well as various citizen science projects.
