LAYTON — Casey Elliott and Friends will perform as part of the Davis Arts Council’s Sunday Night Concert Series. The show begins at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, in the Kenley Centennial Amphitheater, 403 N. Wasatch Drive.

Opening act will be pianist Dale Jessee.

Elliott, who lives in Layton, has performed around the world in various musical theater productions and concerts, and on studio albums. He was in a North American tour and Chinese tour of “Aida.” He most recently starred as Zorro in the U.S. premiere of “Zorro the Musical,” played the title role in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” and starred as Sydney Caraton in “A Tale of Two Cities” — all at Hale Centre Theatre.

Sunday’s performance is free. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome.
