Due to sluggish ticket sales, the third annual Irish Music Festival, slated for Aug. 17 and 18 at the Ogden Amphitheater, has been canceled.
Toby Martin, of Park City Productions, who was presenting the festival, said he was taking steps to cancel the show as of today, Aug. 6.
“We decided to do this because advance sales are simply not where they need to be,” Martin said. “It’s a hard summer for everyone. I’ve heard from other concert and event presenters that they have also had unexpectedly low numbers this summer.”
At this time, there are no plans to reschedule the event.
