BRIGHAM CITY — Bark for Life — a canine fundraiser for cancer research — puts paws on the walking trail on Saturday, Aug. 18.
The dog walk begins at 8:30 a.m. at Lindsay Park, 300 West and Fishburn Drive. Registration starts at 8 a.m.
Other activities, which run until noon, include demonstrations, entertainment, contests and games.
The new Bark for Life event celebrates the bond with canine companions, including those who have been canine caregivers to cancer patients and those who have endured cancer themselves.
Admission for the walk is $15, and proceeds will support the American Cancer Society. Admission to other activities is free.
