OGDEN — Singer/songwriter Alicia McGovern will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 5, as part of the Sol Songs concert series. The program is at the Universalist Unitarian Church of Ogden, 705 23rd St.

McGovern, who bases out of Salt Lake City, writes and performs in the folk style. She is the winner of the 2011 Dave Carter Memorial Songwriting Contest, and has headlined at the Moab Folk Festival.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door and $8 for students and seniors. Advance tickets are available at solsongs.com, or by calling 801-477-SONG.
