ANTELOPE ISLAND — Antelope Island State Park will be offering a variety of outdoor events during the next few days on topics ranging from birds to bison.
• “Morning Bird Walk” will begin at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, July 14, at the park visitor center. On this guided bird walk, participants will look for barn owls, chukars and swallows along the trails.
• “Junior Ranger Program: Big, Burly Bison” will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 14, at the visitor center amphitheater and will teach attendees about bison on the island. This program is geared toward children ages 6-12, but all ages are welcome.
This month’s “Brine Shrimp and Sand” program will be repeated at noon Saturday, July 14, and “Life and Times of Lake Bonneville” will be repeated at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 19.
The park is west of Syracuse off Interstate 15’s Exit 332. Admission is $9 per vehicle.
