'American Idol's' top 10 coming to SLC on July 16

WEST VALLEY CITY -- Season 11 of the Fox TV series "American Idol" has chosen its final 10 contestants, and with that, the show has announced its annual concert tour.

The show arrives in Utah on July 16 at the Maverik Center, 3200 S. Decker Lake Drive.

Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 11, from Ticketmaster.

Performers are Colton Dixon, DeAndre Brackensick, Elise Testone, Erika Van Pelt, Heejun Han, Hollie Cavanagh, Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips and Skylar Laine, finalists who were announced on the show on March 15.

Ticket prices are $26.50 to $62, and will be available at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000.
