In our busy lives, it’s so important to have a way to de-stress and nurture our mind, body and soul. I will incorporate breathing techniques, uplifting quotes, reiki and relaxation/meditation to help you get back to center.

Wear something comfy and bring your mat, pillow and yoga mat.
Twyla has taught various styles of yoga for a few years and is certified through Yoga Alliance. She completed her original training in Sivananda style yoga, where she stayed at an ashram in the Bahamas, fully immersing herself in the training experience.
The style of yoga she prefers to teach is a combo of restorative and yin yoga. This is a great beginner style yoga for those who don’t consider themselves “bendy.” Her students are truly able to dig deeper and go inward. Poses are generally held for a longer period of time, allowing time to explore tension and find peace within that place.
The people who come to her classes aren’t your typical yogi type people. They begin to feel more comfortable exploring their journey through this practice without feeling like they need to look a certain way, embracing the place where they are at. Twyla offers options for poses, because yoga is not a one size fits all.
