World renowned performance consultant and bestselling author of The Fearless Mind, Dr. Craig Manning, will be the featured speaker at Bank of Utah’s The Riverwoods Co Fall Author Events, Oct. 2-3 in Logan, Ogden, Salt Lake City and Provo. Manning will share his secrets on how to overcome fears, expel anxiety, build confidence and become a high-performing individual by controlling one’s own mind.
Manning is a former professional tennis player and a BYU and Olympic sports psychology consultant, who helps athletes channel their focus and energy to optimize their potential. Manning holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brigham Young University and a master's degree in Psychology and a doctorate in Sports Psychology from the University of Utah.
According to Manning, many people when asked to perform, allow their insecurities to hold them back. His goal is to help athletes and all people unlock their cycle of mediocrity and reach their full potential through several key steps.
Manning has counseled numerous elite athletes and international corporations and lectured across the globe. He has advised three different NBA teams (contributing to an NBA championship), numerous NFL, MLB and NHL professional athletes and multiple Olympic gold medalists on US ski and snowboarding teams.
