From Los Angeles, Onstage Ogden presents two shows by Quarteto Nuevo. Quarteto Nuevo was one of thirty-one acts selected by Atlanta’s South Arts foundation to be part of their ‘Jazz Road Tour’ grants. As part of the grant award, Quarteto Nuevo will be premiering a new commission titled “Jazz Road Suite.” The three movement work will be co-composed by ensemble members Damon Zick, Kenton Youngstrom and Jacob Szekely. Each movement will draw inspiration from one of the states on this tour schedule (Utah, Colorado and Wyoming).
