After a win at Cal State Fullerton, Weber State men’s basketball heads to the Gulf Coast to face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Monday night for a second-round matchup in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament.

In their first-round game Wednesday, the Islanders (21-11) defeated Georgia State 80-64 at home. Corpus Christi finished second in the Southland Conference and, like Weber State (20-13), lost in overtime in their conference tournament championship game.

The Islanders are in their 15th season of Division-I basketball and have never faced the Wildcats. The teams did not have any common opponents this season.
