Utah basketball: Devon Daniels, JoJo Zamora will not return in 2017-18

University of Utah men’s basketball coach Larry Krystkowiak announced Friday that freshman Devon Daniels and junior JoJo Zamora will not return to the team for the 2017-18 season.

Both were contributors off the bench for the Utes. Daniels appeared in 29 games, averaging 9.9 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.

Zamora appeared in all 32 games, averaging 6.9 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.

“There are certain responsibilities and expectations that are critical in being a member of our program,” Krystkowiak said in a news release. “We wish these young men the very best in their future endeavors.”
