OGDEN — Mark down June 24 on your calendar, Ogden foodies. That’s when the 2017 Farmers Market Ogden will open for the season.
The Ogden Downtown Alliance is now accepting vendor applications and booking programming for the market, which will operate every Saturday on 25th Street from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 24 through Sept. 16.
In addition to local vendors, musicians and artists, the event provides community organizations and nonprofits an “opportunity to engage directly with the public through interactive elements that rotate on a weekly basis,” according to a press release from the Ogden Downtown Alliance.
Vendors and musicians can apply for the market online at farmersmarketogden.com. A full season pass is $230 while a weekly vendor pass costs $30.
The market will have a main stage performance each Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., according to the Farmers Market website. Street performers will have the opportunity to perform at designated locations.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. April 15. Vendors will be notified by May 1 if they have a spot at the market.
