EDEN — After a day on the slopes at Powder Mountain or a day on the water at Pineview Reservoir, you might find yourself passing through Eden, one of Weber County’s smallest towns.

What Eden lacks in size or population, it makes up for in great restaurants. So if you’re thinking about stopping for a bite to eat, we have a few suggestions for you.

According to reviewers on Yelp — a website dedicated to providing reviews of restaurants and more — the locations listed below are Eden’s best eateries

Note: Luis’s Mexican Cuisine is ranked third on Yelp for best restaurants in Eden, but it’s not included in our list. The restaurant recently closed its Eden location and is soon opening a new location on Historic 25th Street in Ogden.

1. MAD MOOSE CAFE

Hours: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily

User review: “We had the BLT and the Blue Bacon Burger and they were excellent. The staff was very friendly and attentive. A great meal after a perfect powder day. And we were given a free cookie on the way out. Perfect.” — Kathy M

2. CARLOS & HARLEY’S

Rating: 3.5 stars with 110 reviews

Address: 5510 E. 2200 North, Eden

Hours: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily

User review: “Recently stayed in Eden for a snowboard trip. We ate at Carlos & Harley's 3 nights in a row. One of the reasons is because there aren't too many food options in Eden, but the other reason is because we liked this restaurant so much. Great service, fun & casual atmosphere, and good food! Awesome place to unwind after a day of riding, kick back and watch a game while eating great food. I had the asada tacos, a burger, and the blackened salmon. All very tasty!” — Ross P

3. PAT’S FOOD SHACK

Rating: 5 stars with 8 reviews

Address: 2580 N. Highway 162, Eden

Hours: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily

User review: “Stopped for breakfast on the way up to skiing. Great location and convenient parking. They're definitely known for their burritos, however, I opted for the omelette since I'm gluten free. The omelette did not disappoint! Full of yummy veggies and plenty of cheese. Had a really decent cup of coffee too.” — Alicia M

4. EATS OF EDEN

Rating: 3.5 stars with 20 reviews

Address: 2595 N. Highway 162, Eden

Hours: 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday; closed, Sunday and Monday

5. ALPINE PIZZA & PASTA

Rating: 3.5 stars with 21 reviews

Address: 2429 N. Highway 158, Eden

Hours: 4-9 p.m., Sunday through Thursday; 4-10 p.m., Friday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday

User review: “Excellent food, excellent service! A family restaurant or dinner for 2. It is hidden behind (Mad) Moose Cafe so no one knows it's there. But it is a hidden gem for sure! You must go here for the fried beans as an appetizer and choose from their wonderful pizzas or incredible pasta dishes. Oh and they have beer and wine! Who could ask for more. Reasonably priced as well!” — Laura P
